In the middle of 20th century, financial technologies emerged in the academic sector in the United States, and with the progress of Information Technology and the deregulation of financial sector, it rapidly spread out into the business world. Today, it has become the critical factor that determines the competitiveness of the financial institution. The scope of its application is far-ranging, including the development of new financial products, such as derivatives and securitization transactions, the advancement in investment technologies, and the formation of the integrated risk management system. Recently, financial technology is actively used and implemented in business enterprises and public-sector organizations in areas such as risk management and corporate strategy planning.
To put these financial technologies into practice, we are required not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience and capabilities regarding financial business and financial markets.
