Purpose of Use Related to the Handling of Customer's Personal Information

Mizuho-DL Financial Technology Co., Ltd. (herein referred to as the "Company") will use customer's personal information only within the scope necessary for its operations and the achievement of the purpose of use as listed below, and will not use it beyond the specified purpose. Furthermore, if the purpose of use of specific personal information is limited by laws or regulations, the Company will not use the personal information beyond the stipulated purpose.

The Company's operations

- For use in various consulting business which utilizes financial engineering

- Investment advisory business

- Other business and related operations (including future authorized business) conducted by the Company according to applicable laws and regulations

Purpose of use by the Company

The Company uses personal information for the following purposes related to the services they provide.

- For use, according to applicable laws and regulations, in the capacity of identifying the customer and/or for confirming qualifications for use of financial products and services.

- For use in judgments in the light of the suitability rule, and in judging the appropriateness of financial products and services provided.

- For use in business commissioned by another company to process all or part of the personal information, in order to adequately carry out the aforementioned business correctly.

- For use in implementation of duty and execution of legal rights in accordance with the laws and contracts with customers.

- For research and development of financial products and services by such means as market research and data analysis.

- For comprehension and management of various risks, as well as to appropriately and smoothly carry out business transactions with customers.
